Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years. In 2022/2023 qualifications returned to pre-pandemic standards and therefore should not be compared to previous years.
Key stage 4 2022/2023
Our progress 8 score, which measures the academic progress that pupils make between key state 2 and the end of key stage 4 and is based on 8 qualifications, was -0.08. Banding is not applied to our school as we begin educating pupils partway through the five-year period. The school’s attainment 8 score was 45.1.
Our Basic’s measure, which is the percentage of pupils achieving a grade 5 or above in GCSE English and maths, was 35%
The average point score for the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) was 3.7. The percentage of pupils that enter the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) was 19%. The school’s vision is progress, opportunity, individuality and, therefore, we offer a broad curriculum to meet the needs of our students. The percentage of pupils staying in education or going into employment after key stage 4 was above the national average at 95%.

For 2021 to 2022 academic year:
Our average point score was 33.17. With an average grade of C+. The percentage of students completing their main study programme was 98%.
